Love Story: Taylor Swift-Inspired Wedding Ideas for Every Swiftie Bride
Whether you have a favorite Taylor Swift era album or song, there are many ways to incorporate your Swiftie ways into your special day. This can be done with your style, décor, music, quotes, and more. These elements can be as subtle or as obvious as you want. The key is to customize to your taste. It is your big day, after all!

“I’ve got a blank space baby, and I’ll write your name”
A couple of ways you can incorporate Taylor Swift into your big day before it even happens is on your RSVP cards or invites. Brides have used lyrics such as “So it’s gonna be forever” or “And that’s romance. Let’s dance” on their invitations. On your RSVP cards, you might want to use “I’ve got a blank space baby, and I’ll write your name” or even “It’s a love story baby, just say yes.”
“…And at Every Table I’ll Save You a Seat”
One way to incorporate a bit of Swiftie magic is in your seating chart. From her lover era, you can use the lyric “And at every table, I’ll save you a seat” as the heading on your seating chart. This quote is a relatively subtle nod to Taylor. You can put this message on a poster sign or a decorative mirror.
“You Took a Polaroid of Us”
Polaroids can be a great interactive experience for your guests and a quick and easy way to leave mementos and create lasting memories. Though polaroids are not exclusively synonymous with Taylor Swift, it is a subtle way to incorporate her 1989 era and leave you with photos of your special day. Some other quotes you could use to label the polaroid table include “Capture it, remember it” or “Remember this moment.”
“Sparks Fly”
One of the most common wedding traditions is the grand exit, whether it be throwing rice, using glow sticks, or more. In this case, you can have a piece of the Speak Now era with you and use sparklers for your grand exit! To add more Swiftie flare, you could even play “Speak Now” or another Swift song during your grand exit.
“Hold Onto the Memories They Will Hold onto You”
As mentioned before, with the Polaroid photos, it is always a good idea to have some sort of interactive activity for guests to leave with the bride and groom as mementos. This can be pictures, a guest book, an audio message, advice, and more. If you are a fan of the Reputation era, you may want to make a sign featuring the lyrics “Hold onto the memories they will hold onto you” and have it on display next to whichever activity you choose. If an audio guest book interests you, Epic Events by Booth offers our “Miss Daisy Audio Guestbook,” which comes with a vintage telephone that records your guests’ messages. This way, guests can leave a fun message, marriage advice, date night ideas, and more! You will receive a digital audio file of all of the messages once it’s been processed, which you can keep forever!
“I Still Feel You All Around”
One aspect that couples frequently choose to use in different ways is a memorial for those who are no longer with them. This is a thoughtful and touching way to ensure those people still get to be a part of the special day. From Evermore, “Marjorie” is a touching song whose lyrics can be used on a memorial display and a great way to honor your guests in spirit. Many brides choose to specifically use the lyric “I still feel you all around” on various types of memorials.
Live Music
Live entertainment is one way to capture your guest’s attention and be sure to keep them entertained until the end of the night. From a string band, duo, trio, or solo act, live music can be such a special addition to your big day. A live guitar player or orchestra can play Taylor Swift instrumental covers, who some people will be sure to recognize. Others who may not be able to pick up on the song can still enjoy beautiful instrumental music. One instrumental musician we recommend here at Epic Events by Booth is an electric violinist, LaRon Hearst. His website can be found here: https://www.laronhearst.com/.
The Bride’s Processional
Walking down the aisle to an instrumental version of your favorite Taylor Swift song can be a subtle way to include both your favorite song and provide beautiful music to guests. Some popular choices include “Love Story” and “Enchanted”, but the possibilities are endless.
Dive Bar on the East Side
Let’s be honest, guests at a wedding always know how and where to find the bar. Naming signature drinks cleverly after Taylor Swift songs, or even the bar itself, can be a great way to show your Swiftie side. Some drink names could be “Lavender Haze”, “Mirrorball Mimosa” and more. You could even call the bar “Dive Bar on the East Side” or “The Getaway Bar”! Some other creative names include “Might as well be drunk in love” or “I’m drunk in the back of the car” or even “Drunk on something stronger than the drinks in the bar.”
The Getaway Car
A new and creative way couples are making their grand exit is in a getaway car, literally. There are even specialty companies in the Tampa Bay Area for this very purpose. “Elite Classic Transportation” is one of our favorites! A grand exit like this is sure to come out stunning in photos.
“Swear to be Overdramatic and True”
One easy way to incorporate your favorite Taylor Swift lyric can be to make it into a neon sign, or maybe even with big letters if it is short enough, such as a single word or phrase. If your quote or lyric is longer, you could simply have it printed on a custom sign. Some lyrics that would make great signs include “She found her lover”, “Love you to the moon and to Saturn” or “It’s a Love Story.” Some others include “All’s well that ends well to end up with you” and “Forever and always.” With quotes like these, you can go as simple or as extravagant as you’d like!

At the end of the day, whether you choose one of these ideas or multiple, they are sure to spice up your big day in a way Taylor Swift would surely be proud of. You can include a nod to this generation’s most talented songwriter, whether it be subtle or in big neon lights! As Taylor Swift once said, I don’t know how it gets better than this!
